Purpose of this Course
This course will enable the learner to take leadership in emergency situations. More focus is placed on serious injuries and illnesses.
Target Group
Employees of companies where there is a higher risk of serious injuries or individuals wishing to study further to qualify them as a Basic Ambulance Assistant.

Duration
- If you have a valid First Aid Level 2 Certificate: 20 hours, excluding 2 hours evaluation (3 days)
- If you do not have a valid First Aid Level 2 Certificate you will be required to attent the Level 1, 2 & 3 Course (see our combination courses for more details)
Assessment
- Training: 50% Theory & 50% Practical
- Evaluation: 30% Theory & 70% Practical
- Competency in CPR is compulsory
Other Information
- Entry Requirement: Valid Level 2 Certificate and Grade 9 Equivalent
- Language: Afrikaans & English
- Certificate: ID Card & Certificate of Competence (valid 3 years)
