Purpose of this Course
To build on knowledge acquired in First Aid Level 1 and to enable learners who perform a task in the outdoors as this course has modules on snake and other animal bites, as well as environmental casualties such as heat stroke and exposure to extreme cold.
Target Group
Candidates with a valid First Aid Level 1 Certificate, Field Guides, Tourists and Employees working in the outdoors (construction, nature conservation etc).

7. Elementary Applied Anatomy and the Physiology
Duration
- If you have a valid First Aid Level 1 Certificate: 22 hours, excluding 2 hours evaluation (3 days)
- If you do not have a valid First Aid Level 1 Certificate: 30 hours (4 days)
Assessment
- Training: 50% Theory & 50% Practical
- Evaluation: 50% Theory & 50% Practical
- Competency in CPR is compulsory
